A Day for Love and a BIG SALE!
Don’t you just love Valentine’s Day?
I do. I always have… From the time I was a very little girl, tentatively inscribing each classmate’s name on an individually handmade card. (My mom insisted we make, rather than buy, our cards. A tradition I continued with my own three children.) Plastering a plain old shoe box with doilies and hearts to be used as a box to transport my cards to and from school in. These were some of my first creative experiences as a child. I loved receiving handmade cards, easily as much as I loved the boxes of candy hearts and chocolate, and the roses that came on February 14 in later years. My kids are grown, some with children of their own, and I still make personalized, individual cards for each of them every year. I met my husband in February 1978 and there’s not been a year since that I haven’t made him one.
For those who don’t take this same level of pleasure in creating your own, the SHOP on my website includes some individually handprinted-by-me Valentines you can buy to give to those you love. (Order by February 7 to be sure you get them in time to mail.)
To show YOU my love (and to help clear out my studio for new designs and products in 2024), I’m having a BIG SALE.
It runs from February 1-15 and includes 40% all my Paper Goods (memo pads, note cards, wrapping and tissue papers) and my Swedish Dishcloths. To take advantage of the discount, order between February 1 and 15 and use coupon code: 40%off
These sale items make great gifts for Valentine’s Day, and beyond, so stock up!
Note: If you live in or around Portland and would prefer to come shop in my studio, send me an email and I will let you know the days and times I will be scheduling Studio visits during the sale.
