Dress for spring! Wear Pretty Flours on a Made in Maine T-shirt

A few years ago, Beverly Kocenko of Liberty Graphics approached me to ask if I might offer the rights to print one of my block printed designs on a T-shirt. Liberty Graphics is well-known for their commitment to earth-friendly printing practices, quality materials and really fun designs. So of course I said, “Well, YES!”

Located in Liberty, Maine, with a town center about the size of the street most of us live on, Liberty Graphics was begun by Beverly and her partner Tom Opper back in the 70’s. At that time, the two were working out of a trailer and silkscreening t-shirts by hand, in small batches. More than 40 years later, the company is now owned and managed cooperatively by their employees. Their guiding mission, to screen print nature-inspired works of art using only PVC-free water-based inks reflects their company’s investment in preserving the health of the planet.
